Our chocolate bars are like a personalised card - only more delicious. Pick a design, then add your message to the back. We love creating new bar designs, and our collection is growing by the day.
We also are adding a carefully chosen selection of books and stationery that, when paired with one of our personalised chocolate bars, offer you a complete gift solution in a few simple clicks.
We want to take the hassle out of gift buying which is why all our products have a gift wrap option available. They will come wrapped in tissue paper and in the gift envelope of your choice, which will be left unsealed so you can take a quick peak at it before you hand it over. If it's going direct to the recipient it will be sealed and the paperwork left out.
How it all began
The Chocolate Library was founded in 2007 by design and publishing expert Sandra Colamartino. "I love shopping online but when I'm looking for a gift, particularly browsing for books, I find the sheer volume of products can quickly become overwhelming. The vastness of unedited choice can be too much and narrowing it down is really time consuming. The idea behind The Chocolate Library is to be a peaceful place to browse in comfort - a bit like a library. We select the gifts for The Chocolate Library with exactly the same approach as when I was editing magazines. We call in the products, assess them honestly and fairly, and then select and reject items for inclusion based purely on merit. We have reviewed every product and summarised it in a nutshell so you can read in one sentence why we think it makes a good gift. We also suggest who we think it suits and who not to give it to. There are literally millions of products out there. We hope to make a little sense of it all and help you find what your looking for. The Chocolate Library is very much a labour of love that is constantly evolving. Chocolate and books - what's not to love about that!"
